Prime Minister Sarah Wescot-Williams is flanked by kids of Winair staff and members of the Winair Activity Committee for a rare photo opportunity.(TODAY) – St. Maarten –Unlike the previous day when several outdoor and indoor activities had to be postponed or cancelled due to the inclement weather conditions, the management and staff of Winair was able to capitalize on the sunshine and mark what turned out to be an exciting fun day at the Emilio Wilson Estate on Sunday.
The event which was organized by the Winair Activity Committee was the perfect opportunity for its staff that is usually extremely busy under normal circumstances to interact at a social level, with their children, spouses and members of together extended families.
“We are in the airline industry, so we know about the weather, we knew that it would have improved so we did not worry about cancelling,” Michael Jeffrey, senior captain and member of the committee said. Among the list of events was domino, an Easter egg hunt, fun races for the kids, staff and members of Winair executive.
Prime Minister Sarah Wescot-Williams also made her presence during the event. Wescot-Williams was too late to witness the athletic abilities of the Winair Executive. However, the prime minister did join the kids, who were about to participate in an egg hunt, for a rare photo opportunity.
